Thank you for considering a contribution in support of my work interviewing WWII Japanese veterans. We must learn as much as we can about both sides of the conflict in order to better understand what happened and why.

GOAL – To document and publish the firsthand experiences of the remaining living Army and Navy WWII Japanese veterans.

The cost of flying to Japan along with hotels, trains, meals, and postage costs, etc. can be quite prohibitive. Any donations in the form of Frequent Flyer miles or cash is appreciated and will be noted on the website and in both books.

Many of the veterans I interviewed have already passed away. There is a rush now to interview the surviving veterans and record/translate their experiences for future generations of historians and WWII enthusiasts.

My fear is that due to the financial burden of interviewing these veterans, their stories will be lost forever by my inability to afford the cost of traveling to meet and interview them. Your contribution is sincerely appreciated.
